THE WOMANPRENEUR (BRANDING)

Project Description

Two entrepreneurial and successful women started up a podcast to inspire and help others with their businesses  . They wanted their logo and brand to reflect empowerment, femininity, and the playful ness of their podcasts.

The Solution

They wanted to incorporate spirals and hearts, so I came up with the concept to use the profile of a female face and the spiral as a headphone. The circle shape helps make it as responsive as possible and the symbol remains strong in a variety of sizes  I picked a bold and clean font to represent empowerment.

AARDVARK GIRL LLC (BRANDING)

Project Description

A small business owner wanted a logo and branding that was sophisticated and simple – yet had just a little bit of quirk. She knew she wanted an aardvark to be part of her brand, a nickname she’d earned years ago, and one her network knew her by. Therefore, she provided an illustration and let me turn it into her logo and brand.

The Solution

To keep her branding simple and elegant (with a little quirk), I went with three colors – teal, white, and black. For her logo, I expanded upon her illustration, giving it a little more personality, and chose two different fonts. One is an open, easy to read sans serif, with the V modified to be the shape of an aardvark’s face, and one is a script – which gives it that added quirk. The client also wanted business card as part of the package. Therefore, I went with an abstract design that again reflects her preference to be both sophisticated and quirky, particularly since many of her clients are in the creative field.
